IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OUR NEIGHBORS

The DeBary Fire Department and the DeBary Fire Support Team DO NOT do any door-to-door fundraising.

If you are approached by an individual claiming to be raising funds for "firefighters" or "the new fire station", please contact the DeBary office of the Volusia Sheriff's Department.

Big News!

In order to more accurately represent our purpose and activities in and around the City of DeBary, we have filed a new name (DBA) for our group:

"The DeBary Volunteer Fire Support Team"

We feel that this new name will lessen any confusion between our organization and the City of DeBary Fire Department (which is actually staffed by the Orange City firefighters).

We will be keeping our existing name, "The DeBary Volunteer Firemen's Association", as our overall legal identity.

We thank you all for your continued support!

Originally, the DVFA was organized as the first fire department to serve the area which is now known as the City of DeBary, long before it became a city. We have evolved over the years, but we still exist to serve the citizens and visitors through promotion of Fire Safety Ideals, and through fundraising and other support for the Emergency Responders in the city.

The DeBary Volunteer Firemen's Association is a 501c4 Tax Exempt organization.
